SC CIC Highlights

SC CIC responds to cyber incidents across South Carolina, including identity-based attacks, emerging malware, and ransomware, by offering security expertise, analyzing files and websites, taking down malicious webpages, and alerting organizations about compromised accounts and malicious email campaigns trending in the state. SC CIC also proactively strengthens the state’s cybersecurity posture by providing curated services for its participants, such as custom tabletop exercises and targeted security assessments, and regularly speaking at conferences to increase education on the current cyber threat landscape.
