SC CIC Task Force

South Carolina Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity (SC CIC) operates as a task force model. The SC CIC task force is overseen by South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and is comprised of state and federal partners who are involved with securing the state. The goals of the SC CIC task force are to increase cybersecurity information sharing, identify and protect critical infrastructure assets from cyber-related risks and threats, and to act as a centralized point of contact for critical infrastructure entities in South Carolina in the event of cyber incidents. When an organization contacts SC CIC due to a significant cyber incident, a unified response effort is coordinated and executed, to include the option of requesting additional resources from the SC CIC task force members.
